I also bake my biscuits from scratch and use a recipe similar to your second one, with the butter. I usually knead my dough and flatten it so I can cut the biscuits (rather than dropping dough with a spoon). This recipe usually makes 12-14 biscuits, depending on the size.Theresa Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00103717736011804799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3435264559296251510.post-67397041282182627892009-11-20T17:32:55.820-05:002009-11-20T17:32:55.820-05:00I love the bumpy bumps that are crispy! (The only ingredient I had to buy to make either of these was heavy cream for the cream biscuits. Otherwise, it's all pennies' worth of stuff already in my fridge or pantry.) Plus, no icky chemical preservatives or unpronouncable ingredients added!TChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09490117693253485044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3435264559296251510.post-67297557418514476492009-11-12T08:30:35.653-05:002009-11-12T08:30:35.653-05:00I think my family would bow down in worship if I m...I think my family would bow down in worship if I made either of these recipes. It just never occurred to me to make biscuits from scratch, what with all the pop-n-fresh dough out there. I'm curious, how many biscuits do you get from each recipe?kristen spinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12099514779097752438noreply@blogger.com
